Established in 1955.
The college has been started in small school. The college is accredited by the
NAAC at "B" level and declared as Autonomous college by UGC since
2005. The college provides value oriented, need based and socially relevant
quality education to girls from nursery level to post graduation and
professional levels. In addition to Under Graduate, Post graduate and Professional
degree courses, the college is also running a number of job oriented and need
based Diploma and PG Diploma courses.
The college offers 9
different job oriented innovative programmes at the UG level and 8 at the PG
level. The objective of the institution is to shape the character and
personality of the students and mould them into responsible citizens, and
equipping them with the latest knowledge and information which enables them to
face the challenges of life with confidence and courage on the other. College
is an ideal center of higher learning and research for women.
The college is a

Koteswaramma gets International Business Council Award
Montessori Educational Institutions director and correspondent V Koteswaramma has been honoured with Rajiv Gandhi Excellence Award by the International Business Council (IBC), New Delhi. Though the award was presented in New Delhi on July 25, she received it through post here on Friday.
Montessori College joint secretary Rajeev Avirneni, degree college principal R Padmavati, junior college principal Y Mangatayaru, BEd college principal G Padma Tulasi, high school headmistress K Suhasini and others congratulated Koteswaramma for receiving Rajiv Gandhi Excellence Award in recognition of her outstanding achievements in the field of education.
